This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the rules for using Splash, operated by WhealBit (“Splash”, “we”). It forms part of our Terms of Use; if they conflict, the Terms prevail.

1. Who this binds

Everyone who uses the app or this website, including partners who open a share.

2. Lawful, personal use

Use Splash only lawfully and for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Don’t use it to provide medical services to others or as a substitute for professional advice (see the medical disclaimer).

3. No monitoring or coercion

Partner sharing exists so people can choose to share. You must not:

  • pressure, trick or force anyone to share their data with you, or to keep sharing;
  • use someone else’s device, PIN, account or recovery code without their permission;
  • use Splash to monitor, track or control another person, or to collect evidence about their body or sex life without their agreement;
  • pass a share on to anyone else.

If you are being pressured, our safety page explains discreet mode, quick exit and support lines.

4. Security and integrity

Don’t try to access data that isn’t yours, probe or break our security, overload or disrupt the service, scrape it, or create accounts in bulk or by automated means. Good-faith security research is welcome under our disclosure policy.

5. Content

Don’t put unlawful content into display names, notification text or partner replies, or use them to harass anyone.

6. What we may do

If this Policy is broken, we may, proportionately, warn you, restrict sharing, or suspend or close the account involved, and report unlawful activity where required. These steps do not delete data stored on your device. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Reporting

To report misuse, email hello@splash.care. If someone is in danger, call 999 (UK) or 911 (US).

Questions about any of these? Email hello@splash.care.
